You, me and the sidecar
I really want to share what being a Sydneysider means with you. Since it's just you, me and the sidecar you'll get a personalised experience.
You can choose one of my suggested itineraries or come up with your own plan, I can personalise your experience according to your desires. Everything is adaptable.
At your pace
There's nothing quite like experiencing Sydney like a local. We can leave the well-worn tracks and see the city at your own pace. Frantic or relaxed. Take your pick. Whatever you choose, it'll be up close and personal.
Sydney is not just about the icons. This is ideal for anyone who wants to experience the real city.

Experiences for the independent traveller
What I offer is not mainstream, that's for sure. Anyone can catch a hop-on-hop-off bus, but that's not how you experience Sydney like a local. I'll take you to the best cafes, local hangouts and lesser-known spots that the Sydneysiders know and love. To complete this unique experience, you'll be riding in a cool retro-looking sidecar. But you're not confined to the sidecar for the entire time. We'll hop out and explore some places that are best accessed on foot. I specialise in experiences for the independent traveller who wants to get to know more of what Sydney has to offer.
Surry Hills and Darlinghurst are just two of the hip inner Sydney suburbs waiting to be discovered. Start off with coffee at one of the best brewhouses in Sydney before heading off on a tour that includes Kings Cross, Elizabeth Bay, Paddington and Woolloomooloo. There'll be time to stop for photos, discover locally-loved venues and or even check out some edgy clothing stores and galleries,
Bay to Bay
From Woolloomooloo Bay to Watson's Bay, we'll explore the best of the eastern suburbs bay, harbour pools and views. Along the way we'll stop for coffee, pat some dogs and discover instagrammable views of some of Sydney less-visited locales. You'll see amazing properties where even the cars in their garages have harbour views.
Sydney is most famous for the dozens of beaches within close proximity to the CBD. Bondi is the most visited, but there's a whole lot more to Sydney's sun, surf and sand. From tiny secluded harbour pools to big waves, you'll see why everyone heads straight to the beach when they're in Sydney. If the weather is good, we can even take a dip.
Home Sweet Home
See where Sydneysiders live. I'm not talking about historical homes that you pay to see how people used to live, but where today's Sydneysiders actually live. We'll drive passed tiny studios in Potts Point, mansions in Vaucluse, new and old, skyscrapers, brand-new developments popping up, beautiful terrace houses and lots more. If you're interested I'll even find some open for inspections.
If you'd like a completely unique experience then I can construct an itinerary just for you. That's what I do best. It could be a stroll down memory lane or scoping out something new you've heard about, We can visit bookshops, op-shops, cafes, galleries, beaches. Anything you like. Let me know what kind of experience you're looking for and we'll make it happen.

What they're saying
"I had the most fantastic time on my sidecar tour of Sydney. Pat arrived perfectly on time, he was friendly and interesting and really added a nice personal touch to the tour. As a solo traveler, I was instantly at ease. We visited some great hidden places around the harbour away from the major tourist spots. I recommend this tour to anyone who wants a different, fun and unique experience of Sydney."

"What a fun way to cruise Sydney. John’s smile said it all and the ride hadn’t started!"
"What a fun way to cruise Sydney. John’s smile said it all and the ride hadn’t started! Russian-made, the Ural Sidecar was created during WW2 (they altered BMWR71). Don't panic, this one was built in 2017. Top speed is 80km but it’s hard to hit that in inner Sydney. Highly recommend going on a ride with Pat, company owner and personal driver. The helmets have headsets so you can talk to each other. Rides are tailored or you can let Pat show you his Sydney. Perfect gift for the ‘what on earth do I get him/her?’ friend/family."

“Amazing sidecar trip”
"Even though I live in Sydney, Pat took me to places that I didn’t even know existed. The tiny secluded beaches with amazing harbour views were fantastic. I particularly loved the one with the bridge across it. He showed me some great coastal walks that I’ll go back and do sometime. A highlight was seeing the PM’s house and all the magnificent homes in the Eastern suburbs. I thoroughly recommend Pat and his sidecar to anyone, whether you live here or are a visitor."
